A full 12 years since its Japanese release, the opening chapter of the legendary STAR OCEAN saga will finally make its European debut later this month, exclusively on PSP. Now regardless of whether you think it´s cool or just plain rude to turn up so late to the party, we´re sure you´ll agree such tardiness demands a truly stellar excuse...and it has one! Apparently it´s been busy reimagining itself. And judging by its completely revised real-time battle system, cutting-edge graphics, all-new voice-overs and stunning anime sequences from Production I.G, it´s not lying! So? In the town of Lostime, memories are fluttering away with every chime of the local clock tower´s bell. If things go on like this, the residents won´t know their beaks from their bills! But who´s got the pluck to peck up their missing memories and save them from a fate worse than forgetfulness? Chocobo, that´s who! The finely feathered family fun phenomenon that is Chocobo´s Dungeon won´t hit stores for 4 more weeks, but the website will be online soon. We'll tell you more next month!

Yes, the awesome 2008 Edition of FINAL FANTASY XI is available for download now, meaning no troublesome trip to the shops, and no waiting for the postman to deliver your online order! The game may still be a month away, but the official site is up now, and as of the 9th of October it will play host to a brand-new cinematic trailer created for this year´s Tokyo Game Show. Should you be one of the unfortunate majority who won´t be attending said gamestravaganza, the 9th will represent your first opportunity to catch the trailer, either via the website or Xbox LIVE Marketplace. Oh, and the site will be updated throughout October!

TAITO´s classic ninja slash-?em-up is set to return in November. Expect two screens worth of katana, shuriken, fireballs, wall-running and unfeasibly high jumping, oh, and also a lovely new website due to go live in late October. Over the course of September, the FINAL FANTASY IV website has benefited from a host of updates, including new wallpapers and a shedload of screenshots. Now there´s no excuse for not knowing exactly what the game looks like (great), and why precisely every DS-owning fan of the FINAL FANTASY series - make that games in general - should definitely give it a try!
