Persona 4 tells the story of a high-school student who moves to the sleepy town of Inaba just as a bizarre series of murders rocks the unsuspecting population. FINAL FANTASY CRYSTAL CHRONICLES: Echoes of Time is notable not only for its EXTRAORDINARILY long name, but also for being the first game ever to support coop play on both Wii and Nintendo DS simultaneously. In practice, that means up to 4 players with any combination of the two versions can play together via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, while a single Wii host and up to 3 DS players can fight side-by-side locally using DS wireless play. If that all sounds a bit complicated, don't worry - setting it up is simplicity itself. Since coming to Europe, CHRONO TIGGER seems to have spent its entire time collecting the most impressive reviews we've ever seen (rather than sightseeing like a normal international visitor). Not content with a perfect 10 from Eurogamer, it grabbed another from Games Radar, and followed that up with such a mountain of superlatives from everyone else that we simply don't have the space to quote them. But it can't really be THAT good, can it? Oh wait! It CAN!

If you like a bit of tactical battling, the chances are you've been playing the latest entry in Nippon Ichi Software's fantastic DISGAEA series for a fortnight already. It tells the story of Laharl, a loveably hateful prince who wakes up a mere 2 years after the death of his father, King Krichevskoy, to find himself in the midst of a battle for succession involving virtually every other demon in the Netherworld. In 2 weeks, Nippon Ichi Software's interactive musical is set to arrive in Europe for the first time. Originally released on the PlayStation in Japan and North America, the reworked DS version comes to our shores complete with more user-friendly gameplay, a gentler difficulty curve, and an exceedingly hummable collection of songs. If you've always wanted to try an RPG but been scared off by the complicated mechanics, this might be a good place to start.

Next month sees the release of VALKYRIE PROFILE: Covenant of the Plume on Nintendo DS. The game features a different take on the classic VALKYRIE PROFILE battle system, emphasising the importance of strategy, but don't worry - it's also packed with all the gorgeous goddesses, vengeful mortals and general angst that a series veteran could possibly want! IGN has already christened it "the next great SRPG", so be sure to look out for it in April.
